Award-winning, hand-crafted exhibits are waiting for you at Treehouse!
A giant tree grows at the center of the Museum with themed galleries branching off on two levels. Recent exhibits include the Picture This Gallery on the second level that focuses on how visuals help tell a story in picture books, graphic novels, comic books, animations, and more. Also on the second level is the American Dream and John Gullo Family Foundation Star Spangled Gallery that shares facts about our nation’s founding, history, and geography. Updated for the 250th Anniversary Celebration, you can even print your own copy of the Declaration of Independence and sign it in our Oval Office. While you’re upstairs check out the American Dream Main Street with a diner, Walton’s Five and Dime, our Safety Station, our hospital, and more. Visit the Walk in the Woods national park adjacent to the Town.
Coming soon we’ll have updates to our Farm exhibit on the main floor, thanks to RAMP, with new horses, new furnishing’s for Grandma’s Victorian Farmhouse, and even a real tractor for more pretend play. Subaru’s Adventure Campground will be opening this fall.
There are many more galleries to explore, too. Don't forget Treehouse has a wonderful theater for daily ParticiPlays®, an Art Garden with different art activities every day, and new water tables on our Play Patio. Thanks to all the generous donors who make it possible to build and maintain these exhibits, exhibits that allow us to share information and learning concepts in playful ways with families and schools.
