Meet An Artist

This Thursday we want to introduce you to a wonderful children’s book illustrator and Treehouse friend Renée Andriani. Renée lives in Kansas City and has worked as a greeting card illustrator, as well as a book illustrator. She is also a “graphic recorder,” drawing visually the discussions of meetings and brainstorming sessions for corporations and organizations all over the country. Renée is one of the “fastest pens” we know, able to draw amazing visual stories so quickly it feels like her illustrations appear magically on the page. But, Renée will tell you that the magic is practice, practice, practice. Some of her book work includes illustrations for Paris Hop! and Rome Romp!, both by Margie Blumberg, No Naptime for Janie!, and Bunny Romero’s White House Adventure. Treehouse favorites include Teddy Spaghetti and This School Year Will Be the Best!
