Treehouse Children’s Museum’s exhibits are carefully designed and built for imaginative play, retelling favorite stories and creating new ones, and for learning together. Imaginative play and role playing are important for children of all ages! Research shows that children who pretend play are more likely to have richer language use, are better able to take different perspectives, can persist with challenging activities, can exercise divergent and flexible thinking, can focus for longer periods of time, and can regulate their own behaviors more easily. With nearly nearly 30,000 square feet of exhibits to explore, children can find lots of activities that intrigue, inspire, and engage. Check out the Science Circus on the second level if you enjoy experimenting with magnets, air, lasers, gears, and more. Science tells a story, too! Like maps?
