Treehouse is offering a special workshop for fathers and grandfathers and their children ages 6 and up on the first Saturday of every month (January 6 through May 5, 2018) from 10 a.m. to 11:30. Every month we’ll make a game or project together that goes home with the family. On January 6 we’re making wooden car roads and balsa gliders. All materials are included and registration is FREE for members thanks to generous funding from RAMP and the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation. Treehouse Museum’s newest exhibit, our 1950’s Walt’s 5 & Dime Store, is now open and ready for families to explore. Children can make can displays, scan boxes to fill orders, play the touch screen games on our cash registers, and become the store manager or a shopper. The exhibit has all the detail that Treehouse exhibits are known for and lots of play and learning value, too. The exhibit was made possible by grants from Walmart, RAMP, and the Stewart Education Foundation. Come check it out!

Families will love this lively and engaging play  about a bumbling prince, a lovely mermaid, a shipwreck, and a happy ending. The perfect introduction to live theater for even very young children, Treehouse Troupe productions feature professional actors, original scripts, and fun sets and a question and answer session with the actors at the end of the hour-long performances.  "Salt" runs on Friday, January 19, Saturday, January 20, Friday, January 26, and Saturday, January 27, all at 6 p.m. in the Treehouse's Storybook Theater.
