Presented in connection with the 90-Second Newbery Film Festival Founder and Author James Kennedy, Treehouse offers aspiring young filmmakers (ages 10-14) a chance to work together to create a digital masterpiece based on a Newbery award winning book. The 4 day workshop runs Tuesday, June 28 through July 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Camp attendees will learn to help plan, shoot, and act in a short film. The final project will be entered for adjudication in the 90-Second Newbery Film Festival and shown in the afternoon at Treehouse on Junly 2.

This is a free with admission or membership special program at Treehouse as we celebrate Independence Day. Join the Treehouse in some patriotic pastimes. Make a red, white, and blue creation in the Art Garden, print and sign your own copy of the Declaration of Independence, and play the American Map Game and the Heads of State Game, too.

Join us for a very special screening in our Simmons Storybook Theater of the short movies our very own Make A Movie Workshop students have spent this week creating, alongside some hilarious and amazing short film highlights from the 90 Second Newbery Film Festival! This event is free with your admission.  |

Thanks to the generous support of Weber County through a RAMP grant, admission is free on this day for both children and adults with event tickets. Treehouse staff will be doing special Pioneer Days themed activities at both the morning and the afternoon sessions of Treehouse.

For children ages 7 to 11, this 4 day workshop runs Tuesday, July 12th through Friday, July 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. It's taught by Treehouse “Art Guardians" and lets young artists paint, draw and sculpt their own masterpieces using a variety of mediums, all based on the art of recognized artists.

11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Special Program
Yee-Haw! This month we are celebrating Pioneer Days and we have our own Western Music Festival with Wes and Will and a special ParticiPlays at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.! If you’re in town this is fun way to celebrate Ogden and Utah’s heritage. Come dressed up in Western wear and we’ll have a special prize for you to choose from our saddlebags. This activity is free with your admission or membership.  |

For children age 7 to 11 (currently in grades 1 through 5), this 4 day workshop runs Tuesday, July 26 through Friday, July 29 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. It's taught by Treehouse Troupe Director, Wes Whitby. The workshop lets young actors "Step on Stage" at Treehouse by learning about writing, costuming, staging, and acting in a play (to be performed on July 29 at 6 p.m. during the Final Friday Family Frolic event).
